Well, it’s quite simple….Rachel IS the Vintage in Vintage - because “A Little Bit Of Rachel” isn’t just anybodys’ Vintage Retro Fashion Collection, it is one woman’s personal collection spanning half a century, every item touched with Rachel’s tender loving care. I know, because Rachel was my mother and best friend…and this store was created to share her collection and all the fun noble qualities about her with all of you. And why is “A Little Bit Of Rachel” the FIRST OF IT’S KIND & ONE OF A KIND Vintage Retro Fashion On-Line Boutique? There is nothing else like it - because it’s all about A Little Bit Of Rachel - and there is only one original Rachel. Rachel, my mom and best friend, had an eye for fabulous fashion in every era of her life and she enjoyed collecting it and preserving it for that perfect special occasion and event. As the years went by, her collection grew to the attic (much to my fathers dismay!), which had evolved into a scrap book fashion museum. Before she passed away of cancer 2005, and on our trips to cancer treatments at Mass General in 2004, we could actually laugh about how much fashion she had shockingly collected over the past 50 plus years, and talk about what would become of it all. At that point, we both thought mom would live into remission, which was not to be. So…the collection has been left to me…and now to perhaps you. The “search and rescue” missions to bring these time pieces from the past to you in the present never seems to end. Everything has a story attached to it, some I know about, some I can only imagine about. The project is a blessing in many ways one can not describe in words…it gives me great peace and joy for you to meet Rachel through her special things, and the great example of what a mother, daughter and best friend can truly be through those simple items - and that’s all good…

Authentic designer Vintage Label of the customized well known Hand Crafted Shoe Line is in fabulous condition considering these are probably older than any of us looking at them today!

Only Rachel, from her “time capsule fashion collection” can be trusted to have kept such beautiful shoes in such loving condition after all these years.

Rachel must have won some dance contests with Fred in these golden glamours!

While the laces and inner soles show some era wear from all those fun times, the gold fabric is smooth spectacular stunning, and the lace up designer flaps complimented by those flat heels and rounded toes are breathtaking. This is a time when I dream of opening a clothing and accessory line of Rachel’s treasures, because everyone should be able to wear such high fashion timeless chic chic,…oui, oui!

Right out of Rachel’s “time capsule fashion collection” this clutch is in that perfect shade of classic gray that we can only dream to find today.

This bold and beautiful black with cream polka dot leather lining is absolutely fabulous! Simple gold snap closure at top, metal hinged sides insure this accessory stays open when you need it to, and retains shape in all casual or formal conditions. Soft quality leather looks and feels terrific. Made in Italy too..wow…what a one-of-a-kind fantastic vintage find. You will enjoy using this classic gal clutch often, and especially love all those compliments too!
